He is a Post Graduate in Commerce and a law graduate from Govt Law College, Ernakulam. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, New Delhi and Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai. At the time of his appointment he was practising before Hon'ble High Court of Kerala
